Macbeth Summary’s
Scene 2; A camp near forres
Characters: King duncan, Melcom, Donalbain, Lenix, Solider, Ross and angus
Location: Camp near forres
Time: Unknown
A bloodied solider told the king of Scotland how the battle had been going, Luck had been on the other side then Macbeth came and killed McDonald, the other sides leader.
Norway sent over more soldiers from Norway to Scotland just when Scotland had thought they won or were getting close to the end of the battle
Act 1; Scene 4
Characters: King Duncan, Malcom, Lennox, Banquo, Macbeth
Location: A room in the kings palace
Time: after battle
Events: The king is notified of the previous Thane Of Cawdor’s death. Malcom also acknowledges how the Thane dies with great gratitude and understands his treasons/wrong doing. King Duncan is grateful for Macbeth’s qualities and doing in the battle as though he cannot repay him “more is thy due than more then ask can repay”
Act 1: Scene 4
Characters: Lady Macbeth, Macbeth’s messenger, Macbeth
Location: Inverness; Macbeths castle
Events: Lady Macbeth receives a letter from Macbeth explaining his encounter with the witches, He tells her that he is thane of Cawdor and that he is to be king. Lady Macbeth does not believe he has the evil to commit treason to become the king.
Quote; “All that impedes the golden round”
Act 1: Scene 6

Location: Before Macbeth’s castle
Time: After battle
Events: The king has arrived at MacBeths castle, everyone tells the king how very happy they are to be in his company, almost over doing it
Act 2: Scene 1
Characters: Banguo, Fleance, MacBeth
Location: Court room in MacBeth castle
Time: Night
Events: Banque and his son are talking in the courtyard of MacBeths castle, Macbeth arrives. MacBeth Is preparing to kill king Duncan, He does no mention this to banquet and lies to him. Bell rings, signify to Macbeth that the maids are all asleep. Macbeth says “Is this a dagger i see before me”. he uses this imaginary dagger as aa sign that e is meant to be doing what he is about to do and he follows this dagger.
Macbeth exits.
Act 2: Scene 2
Characters: Lady MacBeth And Macbeth
Location: Macbeths castle
Time: After Duncan has been killed
Events: Macbeth is immediately filed with regret, so much so that the thinks his bloody hands will stain the oceans red with guild. His wife is not fazed and thinks that its not a big deal.
Act 2 Scene 3
Characters: Porter, Macduff, Lennox, Macbeth, Banquo, Rosse, Malcolm, Donalbain
Location:
Events: Porter hears a knock at the do, He guess’s at who it may be. He opens the door, MAcDuff and lennox enter. MacDuff accuses the Porter of drinking, Porter says what drinking does to men; Drinking provokes- Nose painting, sleep and urine. Macbeth enters, They ask if King duncan has waken. They go to wake King Duncan only to discover that king duncan has been murdered. Donalbain and malcolm decide to leave the country because they think they will be accused of treason.
Act 2 Scene 4
Characters: Rosse, Old Man, Macduff
Time: Morning after Duncan Death
Events: Rosse and old man talk, They wonder about why that natural order of things has changed, The sky is still dark when it should be light and the horses are eating on another.
Macbeth has already been named as next king and is on his way to scone to be crowned.
Quote: “Tis’ Said, They eat each other” Shows that things were wrong and that horses were eating one another. The natural order has been disturbed
Act 3: Scene 1
Location: Forres; The palace
Characters: Banquo, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Lennox, Rosse, Lords, Attendants, Servant, Two murderers
Events: Banquo brings up the what the witchs said, saying that it came true. he then goes for a long course ride
Act 3: Scene 2
Location: Forres; The palace
Characters: Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, waiting Gentle women
Events: Lady Macbeth is was Gentlewomen, She summons the kind (Macbeth). Lady Mac Beth and Macbeth Howthet have kill the king but there is still things they need worry about. Macbeth Needs to do move evil to back up the first evil that he did, otherwise, in his mind, he will be discovered. He does not tell Lady Macbeth what he is going to do in order to protect her from it.
Quote: We have scorch’d the snake, not kill’d it; Macbeth is saying that He has killed the king but there is still more that needs to be done before they are safe

Events: Murderers kill banquo in the forrest in the dark, Fleance whowas with banquo escaped

Location: A room of state in the palace
Events: Everyone is at the castle at a dinner, Macbeth goes to talk to the murderer that he ordered to kill banquo. The murderer tells him that Banquo is dead but his son go away. When Macbeth gets back to the table he sees Banquos ghost in his seat; the only seat left at the table. Macbeth tries to get the ghost to leave and in doing so looks like he is going crazy because he is talking to himself. Ones he gets the ghost to leave he remind him self that he is still human.

Events: Witch are making a posion with very odd and rare ingredients, Signifying that its a strong/powerful poison. Macbeth enters trying to find out more about his future from the witches. An appellation appears; An armed head. the apparition says “Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff,
Beware the Thane of Fife. Dismiss me. Enough.” Another more powerful apparition comes; a bloody child. This ones says that Macbeth can not be hurt/killed by anyone or anything. A third apparition appears; a Child crowned, with a tree in his hand. This apparition says

Act 4: Scene 2
Characters: Lady Macduff, Son, Rosse, Messanger, First and second Murderers

Location: Fife, Macduff’s castle
Events: Lady Macduff and son talks to one another about there farther being dishonest and running away. Murderers arrive and kill Lady Macduff and all her children.

Act 4: Scene 3
Characters: Malcolm, Macduff, English Doctor, Rosse

Location: England, Before the kings palace
Events: Malcolm is suspicious that Macduff my turn in him for Macbeth, Macbeth fights back with him explaining his hatred for Macbeth. Macduff is sad for his whole country. Malcolm ups him self yo be more merciless than macbeth to test macduff loyalty.

Location: The country near Dunsinane
Events: They are talking about how they think that Macbeth has gone crazy. They are trying to be loyal to Macbeth but they don’t believe in him anymore. They believe in Scotland as a county but not the leader.
Quote: “Some say he’s mad; others that lesser hate him Do call it valiant fury; but for certain He cannot buckle his distemper’d cause Within the belt of rule.”
This is saying how some people are calling him crazy and others that still want to believe in him are making excuses for his behaviour.
Act 5: Scene 3

Events: Macbeth refuses to recive news of any more thanes fleeing. He bullies the servant who comes to warn hi of the english soldiers approaching. But he realises that he is getting older with out gaining the respect that he should be. He gets ready for battle and put on his armer even though it is not needed yet. He asks the doctor about lady macbeth and then asking if he can cure the mind like he does the body. The doctor says that only the patient can do that.

Act 5: Scene 8
Characters: Macbeth; MacDuff

Location: Another part of the field
Events: Macbeth decides that suiside isn’t and option just as MacDuff arrives to kill him. Macbeth doesn’t want to fight and says that he has been avoiding Maduff. They fight, Macbeth says he can not be killed because he was born from woman. Macduff tells he that he was born c section introducing a technicality meaning that he can indeed be killed. Macbeth looses his confidence, Macduff gives him a change to surrender. However Macbeth regains his confidence and they continue to fight. Macduff kills Macbeth.
